I was stunned when I happened to spot this spectacularly ostentatious tree next to the Murray Building on Garden Road. I have no idea what it is and couldn’t get really close since the area is under construction, when I went back the next day for a closer look. Never really noticed it before, but what a impressive sight.
I can’t wait till they finish with the renovations to get closer to this tree, but it looks unlikely that it will happen any time soon. I’ll have to go back next year. In the meantime, anyone know what type of tree this is?
