These flowering castanopsis/chestnut oak (castanopsis fissa) 黧蒴錐 on the steps towards pinewood battery on Lung Fu Shan 龍虎山, are easy to miss. 

Once you get a closer look, it is hard not to admire their delicate beauty and intricate design.
