Cherry trees at the Duomo

There are two cherry trees (at least I think they are) planted at the back of the Duomo in Milan. Not sure who decided to put them there or why but they certainly add another element to the magnificent cathedral.

Photos here were taken in the fall but would love to see these beauties in full bloom!
